Where am I now?

How did I post on my blog last year? How to I try to do more blogging? This is a bit confusing to me.

Didn't remember I had this on my Google account. Have to consider using it more often.
Wednesday I go in for hip surgery. Kind of concerned, but God has given me some verses to think on, and some peace about it. I really have a concern about the pain. Don't want it, but know it's coming since they have to cut me open, saw my bones, drive a "spike" into my leg and screw the socket into my hip bone. I'm glad to be under for that, and I hope they find something to help me cope with the pain since I cannot take any opiates. May be able to write more after surgery.

I'm going to show off some of my projects, quilts I make, clothes I make, Things like that. I will try to comment on them when appropiate, otherwise pictures will have to speak louder than words. (I hope).

This is an appliqued Kimono girl quilt. Satin background. The girls are each dressed differently and have different poses. An ideal gift for a little girl, not necessarily a baby. The back is a soft "minkee" type fabric. It is 50 X 55 inches.

Newbie

It took awhile to finally reach this spot. It could be easier, but I'm not sure how. I was trying to post a comment on my daughters blog and had to create my own in order to post on hers. This tells me that this particular blog is fairly exclusive and only to others who are either signed up with Google or have some computerese in signing up. However, I finally made it. So...I'm now official.
